About Us

Carmeli Care Concierge specializes in providing compassionate, professional, and personalized in-home senior care services designed to enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals. Serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, our dedicated team offers a range of services including assistance with daily activities, medication reminders, and companionship, all tailored to meet the unique needs of each senior. By focusing on a compassionate approach, we ensure that our caregivers not only address the physical requirements but also nurture emotional well-being, creating a supportive and warm environment in the comfort of the client’s own home or facility.

It’s How We Care That Sets Us Apart

Carmeli Care Concierge is less of a replacement for hospice and more of an essential augmentation, recognizing that hospice care alone often is not enough. While hospice focuses on end-of-life medication management and the necessary equipment, Carmeli Care goes further by offering care and support that addresses both the patient’s needs and the family's emotional well-being. We not only provide personalized care for your loved one but also guide families through the complexities of hospice services, empowering you with the knowledge and resources to navigate this challenging time effectively. With Carmeli Care, you receive holistic support that enhances the hospice experience, ensuring that everyone feels cared for and supported.

Gentle Exercise

We support your loved one’s mobility and physical well-being by incorporating gentle movement into their routine—such as guided stretching and chair yoga—to help maintain strength, flexibility, and overall health. When appropriate and prescribed by a physician, we also coordinate physical and occupational therapy services to provide personalized care that enhances mobility and supports daily functioning. By encouraging regular movement in a safe and supportive environment, we help seniors stay active, comfortable, and engaged in their everyday lives.

Services

Cognitive Enrichment

We enrich the lives of our seniors by planning and facilitating engaging, mentally stimulating activities designed to enhance cognitive function and overall well-being. Solving puzzles strengthens problem-solving skills, strategic games boost memory retention and critical thinking, and reading fosters comprehension, creativity, and mental flexibility. By incorporating these activities into daily routines, we help seniors maintain mental sharpness, encourage lifelong learning, and promote a sense of accomplishment, ultimately contributing to their overall brain health and emotional fulfillment.

Services

Social Visits

We provide compassionate and engaging social visits for seniors in our care, ensuring they experience meaningful companionship and emotional enrichment. Our dedicated caregivers offer personalized interactions, including heartfelt conversations, storytelling, and light recreational activities, tailored to each individual’s interests and comfort. By fostering a warm and supportive environment, we help alleviate feelings of isolation, promote joy, and enhance overall well-being during this delicate stage of life.

Services

Memory Sharing

We value the profound impact of memory sharing, recognizing it as a vital way for seniors to reflect on their life experiences, strengthen personal identity, and foster deeper connections with others. Our caregivers gently encourage storytelling, reminiscing through photos, and recording cherished memories, creating meaningful moments that bring comfort and joy. By facilitating these interactions, we not only honor each individual’s legacy but also provide emotional enrichment, reduce feelings of loneliness, and promote a sense of fulfillment in their journey.

Jessica

Caregiver

Caregiving is rooted in compassion. The ability to empathize with others' pain, struggles, or vulnerability is what transforms ordinary care into extraordinary care. For as long as I can remember, helping others has resonated deeply with me. I often found myself drawn to those in need. As a caregiver, I have the unique opportunity to offer support, comfort and companionship to individuals during some of the most difficult times of their lives.

Karen

RN, BSN, MBA

With over 30 years of nursing experience in critical care, medical-surgical units, hospice, and long-term care, I am deeply passionate about providing the highest quality of care. I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families, always striving to go above and beyond to ensure their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Ryley

Caregiver

What matters to me most about caregiving is the level of comfortability, compassion and respect a client feels as they are being taken care of. You should feel these things at all given times, no matter what. Caretaking encourages a high level of passion and strength and I enjoy having the privilege to take these qualities on as I assist others and their unique needs. I have chosen to be a caregiver because I simply enjoy taking care of people- it has always come naturally to me since I was a young girl- it is something my heart pulls me to do. I have had a handful of caretaking jobs with people ranging from newborn to 80 years of age, all coming from vastly different backgrounds and ethnicities, for the last eight years of my life.

Miranda

Caregiver

I have been in the healthcare network since I was 16 years old. I started working as a server at an assisted living home. I got my NAR when I fell in love with the individuals who lived there. I worked for Presbyterian Homes for 11 years, mainly in the locked Alzheimer’s and Dementia unit. I helped open a memory care group home, then moved to a state nursing home for 8 years. I switched to home care and have devoted my free time to helping keep individuals in their home for as long as possible.

Cecilia

Caregiver

I am Bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. Have been knowledgable in the medical field for about 8 years and caring for family and others for about 2+ years. In my spare time I love spending time with 3 boys and two dogs, fishing, swimming, and eating at new places.

Marly

Caregiver

I am a very passionate person about my work. I care a lot about the well-being, comfort, and safety of my clients. I'm a person who cares a lot, and I am patient and responsible. I like caring for seniors because I deeply respect the vulnerability of people, who at a certain stage of their lives need assistance in some way. I have more than 10 years of experience working as a nursing assistant. I love my job Because here is where I can have the flexibility to work and take care of my family. And above all that, I like to continue helping people with my experience, where they need that extra help in their lives. I started caring for seniors back in 2012. Right after I obtained my Nursing Assistant Certificate. In my spare time, I like to read and serve in my church community.

Gen

Caregiver

Hi my name is Genesis, but I go by Gen! I’ve been a Certified Nursing Assistant for the past 10 years, with a strong focus on memory care. Over the years, I’ve learned just how powerful small acts of compassion can be—especially during the most vulnerable times in a person’s life. What I love most about this work is the opportunity to make a real, meaningful difference—not just for those I care for, but for their families as well. Being a steady, kind presence during difficult moments has taught me so much about patience, empathy, and the strength of human connection. I believe in showing up with heart, listening with intention, and treating every person with the dignity they deserve.

Kind Words from Our Clients

"I want to personally thank you for the professional, caring, and loving support Laszlo received from the CCC team. Whenever I needed to run errands, I always knew he was in good hands with Deb’s care. The help we received covered all of Laszlo’s daily needs—personal hygiene, showers, cleaning, caring for his inflamed toes, walking outside in the nearby park, and exercising in our building’s fitness room. Deb also encouraged activities to stimulate his mind, such as special puzzles and exercises with colors and patterns. She sometimes prepared lunch for Laszlo as well. Deb went above and beyond by helping me make phone calls, set up appointments, and even accompanying us to doctor visits and vaccination appointments (including COVID, flu, and shingles shots). She drove us there and helped keep Laszlo calm, which was such a relief. She also helped purchase essential items for us, saving me valuable time and effort. Dear Kristine and Deb, I truly appreciate your warmhearted visits during Laszlo’s hospitalization at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. Your kindness and care for both of us during that heartbreaking time meant so much. Thank you both for your compassionate, professional, and loving support. I would gladly recommend your services to any family in need of trustworthy and heartfelt care."
"A few years ago, I was searching for at-home help in the midst of COVID. My husband was struggling with Parkinson’s Dementia. Around that time, the CCC Team came highly recommended as “great caregivers,” and I connected with them immediately. I appreciated that our first meeting was at my home, on the porch, on a sunny day. Learning how the CCC Team worked and what they could offer helped me define what we needed. One priority was flexibility while we developed a rhythm, and I wanted a caring team who could meet us where we were and adjust as our needs changed—and boy, did things change! Sometimes several times a day. That’s when I realized we were a good match. The CCC Team quickly learned about my husband’s personality and interests, and always honored my biggest request: “My husband comes first!” The CCC Team tended to my husband’s personal care, medications, entertainment, and exercise. When he was resting, they helped with errands, online shopping, household chores, and even picked me up when I felt overwhelmed. Their creative and “can-do” attitude helped us solve many problems—even fixing my husband’s recliner themselves. Their training in the medical field and extensive caregiving experience gave me confidence that I had made the right choice. They monitored blood pressure, assisted with his Deep Brain Stimulator and medication pump, chauffeured us to doctor appointments and outings, and were always prepared to meet any personal needs. When my husband needed more around-the-clock support, the CCC Team adapted their role to provide companionship in memory care. They remained creative and attentive, organizing outings and day trips to the Como Conservatory, parks, breakfasts with friends, shopping, and special treats like chocolate shakes from Culver’s. They even humorously helped fulfill his “need for new razors” (yes, plural). Over the past three years, the CCC Team has been my rock as we navigated the challenges of Parkinson’s Dementia. Their support allowed me to attend support groups and take necessary breaks while knowing my husband was safe, engaged, and cared for. I hold the CCC Team and Carmeli Care Concierge in the highest regard and would recommend them wholeheartedly. I trust them completely and am deeply grateful for the support they provided when I felt I couldn’t manage alone."

A Day in the Life

Understanding "a day in the life" of a senior in senior care is essential for fostering empathy, strengthening relationships, and ensuring informed care decisions. It provides valuable insight into their daily routines, challenges, and experiences, helping caregivers and family members identify ways to enhance their quality of life through personalized support. Additionally, this perspective builds trust and transparency, offering families confidence in care decisions and helping seniors feel valued, understood, and dignified in their environment.

Morning Routine

Our caregivers assist the senior with morning tasks such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, and preparing for the day. Breakfast is often shared together, providing an opportunity for social interaction and ensuring the senior starts the day with proper nutrition.

Midday Routine

Our midday routine includes preparing lunch, ensuring hydration, and assisting with hygiene. Afterward, we may encourage light activity like a short walk or a favorite hobby. Medication, if needed, is administered on time. We may also handle light housekeeping before allowing the senior to rest or enjoy a quiet activity.

Night Routine

Our caregivers' night routine typically includes preparing a light dinner, assisting with hygiene tasks like bathing or brushing teeth, and helping the senior change into comfortable clothing. Medications are administered as needed, followed by a calming activity such as listening to music or reading. We ensure the home is secure, adjusting lighting and temperature for comfort. Finally, we assist the senior into bed, providing any necessary support for a restful night, and remain available for any nighttime needs.
